Fitness Classes Offered!
Prices: $5.00 for a single class; $10.00 day pass (classes and use of fitness center); $40.00 for 1 month of unlimited classes (month to month - pay as you go, no commitment). $420.00 for 1 year of unlimited class participation (or $35.00 per month via automatic payment to a debit/ credit card.)
DESCRIPTION OF CLASSES:
AEROBIC DANCE! it's fun, energizing and effective! Kristi uses tunes from all eras, leading you through exciting dance routines that are easy for all ages and levels to follow. Heart Fitness, Toning & Sculpting, Stretching, Balance and Breath Focus are all part of this 55 min. workout.
BODYFLOW is an exercise-to-music class that uses three main disciplines. We start with Tai Chi to calm and gently warm us into the workout, followed with a standard Yoga format to fully stretch, strengthen and energize our bodies as only Yoga can. Finally, Pilate’s exercises have been modified to suit the group fitness studio; they provide the quintessential core workout. The aim of the class is to build flexibility and strength which improve the functionality of the body.BODYFLOW is targeted to a wide variety of people, as it is both challenging and rejuvenating.
Yoga Basics - Hatha (breath length) & Vinyasa (flowing poses) yoga. This class is invigorating, yet relaxing. Good for all ages and abilities. Come find the strenght and lenght of your own body!
BODYPUMPTM is the original barbell class that shapes, tones and strengthens your entire body. Often referred to as 'Pump' by those who love it, it's one of the world's fastest ways to get in shape. This 60-minute addictive workout challenges all of your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises such as squats, presses, lifts and curls. The key to BODYPUMPTM isTHE REP EFFECTTM, a breakthrough in fitness training focusing on high repetition movements with low weight loads. This will help you achieve strength and introduce lean body muscle conditioning. With the latest chart topping music, highly trained instructors and your choice of weight, get the results you are looking for- and fast!
Boot Camp - This boot camp workout leads you through 10 high intensity strenght and cardio exercises designed to challenge your strenght and endurance while burning lots of calories. The workout moves quickly, taking you from one exercise to the next with little or no rest. Take breaks when you need to, but try to keep your heart rate up. Angie will show multiple levels, make sure to modify whenever necessary to stay safe and avoid injury.
Booty Beat Dance Fitness - Booty Beat is an outrageously entertaining cardio intensive dance-based class that works the entire body. Using the easy to learn Flirty Girl Foundation Moves, participants will quickly "own" the movement and experience the fabulous feeling that dancing gives you, while reaping the benefits of strenght and cardiovascular exercise all in one class. No dance experience needed, great for all levels.
Butts & Gutts - Lower Body toning -45 minute of activities to sculpt and tone your buns, thighs and bellies! This class is appropriate for all levels.
CARDIO DRUMMING - High energy cardiovascular workout using stability balls on a stand. You will "play" your own ball, and the 2 stability balls beside you, and the ball behind you for an exciting and invigorating exercise session. Cardio Drumming is good for all levels, and does not require musical experience...only the desire to move and have fun.
INSANITY!! NEW CLASS- Choose from either a 30-40 minute session Cardio Interval workout. Learn how to use short burst, and Plyometrics for gain cardiovascular fitness, strenghen & tone and accomplish fat burning goals. Low and High options & levels will be shown. Enjoy an extended core & ab section at the end of the class.
OUTDOOR WALKING CIRCUIT - We'll be taking our workout fun outside! Meet inside the Group Exercise band or hand weight. We'll then head out to the park across the street to walk the park, stopping at various stations for toning exercises and finish up with a good stretch in the outdoor sunshine.
R.I.P.P.E.D.!! (new class) Experience this total body "plateau proof fitness formula" workout, utilizing resistance and training, which masterfully combines resistance, Intervals, Power, Plyometrics, Endurance, and Diet components of R.I.P.P.E.D. to help you attain and maintain your physique in ways that are fun, safe, doable and extremely effective.
Senior & Beginner Fitness - Perfect for our older exercisers and beginners who need something a little lighter, but not ready for a seated chair class. 20 minutes of Aerobic Exercise using easy to follow steps and moves, 15 minutes of balance work and functional strenght training, 10 minutes of gentle movement and stretching.
ZUMBA is a fun cardio workout that is designed for people of varying ages and ability levels. It is based on Latin dance moves but being a dancer is not necessary. Anyone can Zumba! It is a full body workout that will tone, sculpt and invigorate. Zumba will give you a full range of health benefits, help you to burn calories in a fun way that doesn’t even feel like exercise!
ZUMBA GOLD is specifically designed to take the exciting Latin and international dance rhythms created in the original ZUMBA program and bring them to the active older adult, the beginner participant, and other special populations that may need modifications for success. The class is guaranteed to provide participants with a safe and effective total body workout.
BENEFITS: By attending any of these classes 2-3 times per week, participants can expect: improvement in overall sense of well-being; improved flexibility and joint mobility; improved strength endurance and functional strength; increased core strength; improved coordination and balance; increased bone density; reduced stress levels and increased ability to relax & unwind; and potential weight loss through caloric expenditure and increased muscle tissue.
